About us
Since 2011, we have worked on a number of significant mill restoration projects, gaining over a decade of millwriting experience between us.
Our background is rooted in traditional wooden boatbuilding. Gary has worked on boats for most of his life and specialises in large-scale shipwrighting and the restoration and maintenance of historic wooden vessels.
Alex trained in boatbuilding at IBTC Lowestoft and is an accomplished joiner and has built a number of traditional new-build wooden boats as well as working on large-scale shipbuilding projects.
This strong foundation in traditional timber construction and engineering has naturally translated into millwrighting. Since 2020 we have built a varied and continuous portfolio of mill restoration work across the UK.
To date our operations cover the south east of England, with a workshop and hub based in Norfolk.
